After the establishment ceremony, Academician Zhao Guoping and Academician Zhang Youming respectively gave academic reports titled "Always Remembering Our Original Intent - Building a Biomedical Innovation Chain for the" Healthy China "and "Application of Red/ET Genome Editing Technology in Synthetic Biology". Academician Zhao Guoping elaborated on the development process of systems biology and medical research, the development trend of international biomedical big data, and the opportunities and challenges faced by China's biomedical big data in his academic report. At the same time, he pointed out that the establishment of SIIT provides a new platform for the transformation of scientific research achievements in the field of precision medicine. Academician Zhang Youming gave full recognition to the development of SIIT . At the same time, he introduced the invention process, technical principles, and technological advantages of Red/ET genome editing technology, and provided examples to introduce its widespread application in synthetic biology.
