The Illumina MiSeq Dx Sequencing System（Established Joint Laboratory）of SIIT has been Put into Use

On December 26, 2023, the Illumina MiSeq Dx sequencing system of Shandong Institute of Industrial Technology for Health Sciences and Precision Medicine (SIIT) was officially put into use, marking a solid step forward for the Established Joint Laboratory in genomics research and precision medicine.

MiSeq System is a benchtop sequencing system capable of performing a broad range of sequencing applications. With automated paired-end reads, an output range of up to 15 Gb per run, and optimized library prep kits, the MiSeq System can accommodate a variety of applications, including targeted gene sequencing, small genome sequencing, amplicon sequencing, 16S metagenomics analysis, and more.
