The "Qilu Symposium on Standardization and Clinical Practice of Fecal Microbiota Transplantation Technology" was successfully held!

On June 28, 2025, the symposium, sponsored by the China Association for Promotion of Health Science and Technology and undertaken by the Shandong Institute of Industrial Technology for Health Sciences and Precision Medicine Association, Shandong Institute of Industrial Technology for Health Sciences and Precision Medicine (SIIT) and the School of Biomedical Sciences of Shandong First Medical University, was successfully held at SIIT.

This academic symposium achieved remarkable results. The offline main venue gathered 263 experts and scholars from all provinces and cities across the country, and the cumulative number of viewers on the online live broadcast platform exceeded 52,000, constructing an academic communication matrix with online-offline interaction that fully demonstrated the academic popularity and social attention in the field of intestinal microecological medicine. Focusing on the standardization construction, clinical application norms and cutting-edge research progress of fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) technology, the conference adopted various forms such as keynote reports, case discussions and interpretation of standards, and was highly praised by participating experts and peers. Participants generally reported that through systematic academic exchanges, they not only deepened their understanding of the standardization construction of FMT technology and clarified the key links of clinical practice, but also provided practical guidance for the quality control system of this technology.
